Cris Clifford of Aqualuxe Outfitting photographed the #TopNotchTabletops entrants at the Palm Beach Boat Show this weekend, accompanied by Alene Keenan, The Yacht Stew Guru. Here are the highlights!

We began on the north docks with our first participant, Chief Stew Samara Rose, from M/Y MAG III showcasing a chic arrangement of roses in a stunning antique silver vase that depicted the mythological God Triton, son of Poseidon, Messenger of the Sea. Her centerpiece featured roses entwined in the chandelier, complemented by greenery and whimsical glass bubbles holding small bouquets of roses and kale suspended aloft. A unique collection of vintage silver coasters accentuated lovely Hermes china to finish this elegant mythological theme.

Ashleigh, Cayla, Goody & Kelly onboard M/Y Spirit displayed a Bohemian Chic Outdoor table setting incorporating succulents, sage, carnations, cactus, an array of vases, crystals, rosemary & thyme arrayed on a soft, muted-green velvet table cover. The simple napkin fold was the perfect accent, with sprigs of evergreen rosemary to complete the earthy look. The Drink of the Day was a refreshing rum-based iced tea concoction named “Spice of Spirit” that featured black chai, cinnamon, star anise, rosemary, thyme, coconut cream and an interesting black-salt rim. Delissh!!

Black stones and candles accented a variety of sparkling clear vases, along with driftwood, exotic orchids and lush greenery to compose the centerpiece onboard M/Y Kisses. Krisli, Bernie & Mel chose an ultra-modern Safari look with beautiful animal napkin rings to decorate their centerpiece.

Inspired by James Bond movies with a bit of Alice in Wonderland thrown into the mix, Nadine & Natasha on M/Y Sofia combined casino dice, poker chips and character-themed place cards along with whimsical upside down tea cups, flowers and votive candles. The exquisite rose-flower butter carving that accompanied the oil & vinegar presentation is a noteworthy detail.

Chloe, Leigh, Nadine & Chantal showcased a classic nautical gold and navy theme. The centerpiece aboard M/Y Broadwater was decorated with LED lights, flickering candles, gold flatware, & navy china. They displayed 2 napkins per setting, a white one on a double roll inside a navy starburst napkin ring and the other, a navy napkin simply draped over the white charger for background effect. Loved it!

Maeve & Dani aboard M/Y Abbracci were prepared for a hot South Florida weekend  and created beverage stations on every deck to refresh their guests.. They also displayed two chic outdoor designs, including a modern take on red coral with green napkins on the aft deck, and an avante garde fishing net decorated with shells and succulents on the top deck.

Melanie & Marica chose a Japanese-theme for both interior & outdoor settings on M/Y Nita K. Artfully arranged gems and stones depicted the symbols for Live, Laugh & Love. They dressed the charger with a French double-sided fan-style napkin fold with elegant Swarovski crystal napkin rings.

Daniela Breban & Shannon Jones, from M/Y Lady Joy showcased one of the owner’s favorite elements on their table. Tying together the china, the napkins, the placemats and the vases, red coral was the focus. The use of draped elevations with different fabrics, twinkling candles, sparkling shells & decorative drift wood made this a cozy-chic tablesetting.

Chief stew Ania & Haylee on M/Y Allegria added exquisite deep purple calla lilies to their napkin fold for a sophisticated look. A carefully composed display of asymmetrical ornaments in assorted metallics included gold chargers, silver and gold detailed flatware, copper & black accents, amber votives & silky taupe napkins held in a gold ring.

M/Y Madsummer added colorful bowls of koi fish to their centerpiece to accentuate the two gorgeous tropical arrangements provided by Indigo Hues. Dragon fly napkin rings added the finishing touch to this tropical theme.

The stews on M/Y Match Point took the centerpiece to another level. The popular charter boat is a tribute to athletics and the guests who charter her. Playful tennis balls and rackets were a natural fit for this centerpiece. They even created their own napkin rings from tennis balls. Very creative, Chef JP, and stews Candice and Stephanie!

Finally, Marie Ramsay of M/Y Te Manu was refreshing her daring tall flower centerpiece arrangement as we boarded. This elegant design included impeccably ironed and perfectly-folded linens, gold-plated silverware & china, suspended pearls and flickering candles that impressed us at the door.  Te Manu’s crew offered their guests a beautiful fresh lemonade beverage presentation as they boarded. Chelsea Gallagher crafted the yacht’s specialty drink: the Te Manu. We were delighted to learn that “Te Manu” refers to the Maori kite bird of Polynesia. The lemon garnish affixed to the glass depicted a bird gliding in the wind. This charming presentation was definitely one of the highlights of the day. (We also have the recipe for you, so stay tuned!)

Little touches mean a lot. From M/Y Octopussy’s beautiful rose napkin fold on their indoor/outdoor setting to the impeccable fan fold on M/Y Safira, every one of the Top Notch Tabletops designs were original with an inspirational story to tell. I hope you had as much fun as we did.

Good luck to all participants!
